JOB TYPES: Contract; Full-time CATEGORY: Discharge Summary RESPONSIBILITIES: Transcribe physician-dictated discharge summaries and related clinical documents into clear, well-formatted reports. Edit and proofread transcripts for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and proper medical terminology. Use transcription software and reference tools to ensure precision and clarity. Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Consistently meet project deadlines while upholding high documentation standards. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: MUST be a U.S. citizen. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in medical transcription, with a focus on discharge summaries, is strongly preferred. Proficiency with transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, ChartNet) is a plus. Solid understanding of medical terminology, pharmacology, and clinical documentation standards. Excellent listening, grammar, and typing skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Reliable Internet connection. Laptop or desktop computer.
