Creek Municipal Utility District enjoys the quiet rural aspects of

amenities. The Organization: Brushy Creek Municipal Utility
District is home to 18,000 residents. Formed initially as
Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 2 in 1977, BCMUD
provides water and wastewater services, recreational activities,
beautiful gardens, parks, and miles of trails through the Brushy
Creek community. BCMUD operates four swimming pools, four tennis
courts, and a disc golf course throughout the community. At the
heart of our District is the Brushy Creek Community Center. Our
Community Center features two gyms, two racketball courts, weight
room, rock wall, and recreational programming, including various
fun activities, educational and fitness classes. Brushy Creek
employs approximately 190 seasonal, part-time, and full-time team
members. Procurement Specialist: Are you a detail-oriented
professional with a knack for strategic purchasing and vendor
management? Brushy Creek MUD is seeking a motivated Procurement
Specialist to help us secure the best value in goods and services
while supporting the essential operations of our District. In this
role, you'll play a key part in ensuring timely, cost-effective
procurement that aligns with our standards for quality and
compliance. If you're passionate about process improvement,
contract management, and maximizing value, we'd love to hear from
you. What You'll Do: Leads the end-to-end purchasing and
procurement process for the District's goods and services. Manages
vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring compliance with
District policies, including collecting W-9s, certificates of
insurance, and maintaining an accurate vendor database. Oversees
asset management activities and facilitates the surplus property
process in accordance with District guidelines. Supports
solicitation efforts by reviewing and preparing RFP/RFQ documents
in line with procurement plans. Assists in evaluating bids by
creating and managing detailed bid tabulation spreadsheets for
accurate comparison and analysis. Maintains and organizes all
contract documentation, ensuring records are properly stored,
updated, and accessible. What We're Looking For: We're looking for
someone who brings a combination of organizational precision,
analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset. Your ability to
juggle multiple procurement activities while ensuring compliance
and cost savings will make you a key contributor to our mission.
Requirements: Associate's Degree in Business, Public
Administration, or equivalent combination of education and
experience required. 1 year of experience in procurement,
purchasing, asset management, or related fields. Exceptional
customer service relationship techniques. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. Exceptional organizational skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Benefits: The
