Scott & White – Temple Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:00
AM–5:00 PM Baylor Scott & White Temple is seeking a Hospice LVN –
Administrative Support to provide essential administrative and
clinical support for daily hospice operations. This role focuses on
managing inbox requests, reviewing medical documentation, and
supporting the care team in a fast-paced, patient-centered
environment. Key Responsibilities - Support daily administrative
tasks related to hospice in-basket requests - Review medical
records and identify urgent or time-sensitive clinical needs -
Communicate professionally with patients, families, and care team
members via phone - Collaborate effectively as part of an
interdisciplinary hospice team - Maintain accuracy and efficiency

Summary You will use our nursing model to care for patients as part
of our health team. Your role involves tasks based on your license,
including managing patient electronic medical records. Handle
digital interactions through our 'In Basket' system. Essential
Functions of the Role - Respond to patient messages promptly,
adhering to standard workflows. - Act as the first reviewer for all
assigned care team messages. - Carry out fundamental scheduling
tasks which include appointments for the same and next day, as well
as lab rechecks. - Take charge of referrals and pre-authorizations
as per clinic workflow. - Fill out necessary paperwork such as
Family and Medical Leave Act documents, home health records and
others. - Implement standing delegated orders efficiently. - Handle
pending/plan orders and associated diagnostic codes. - Ensure clear
and quick documentation in the electronic medical record. - Record
external test results in the electronic medical record. - Make
patient calls and notifications, ensuring accurate relaying of
clinical information/education from provider to patient. - You may
need to perform in-clinic duties as detailed in the job

have a solid understanding of health care standards and procedures.

status. - You possess superb computer skills, including data entry
and typing, with a keen eye for detail. - You maintain composure

f5f5f5;/n}/n Qualifications & Skills - Minimum 1 year of hospice
experience required - Ability to review medical records and
recognize urgent clinical needs - Excellent communication and phone
skills with a professional demeanor - Calm under pressure; strong
multitasking and teamwork abilities - Proficient computer skills,
including Microsoft Word and Excel - Quick learner with experience
using Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) - Current LVN License -
Basic life support (BLS) certification is required. Must obtain
within 30 days of hire if you do not have it.
