ProDrivers is seeking a qualified Class A CDL Holder with Hazmat endorsement to join our dedicated team. This role is critical in supporting our commitment to safety and compliance while meeting the expansive logistic needs of our diverse clientele across various industries. As a core member of our transportation team, you will be tasked with managing and executing the transportation of hazardous materials, ensuring all operations adhere to state and federal regulations. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and a strict adherence to safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for all. Transport hazardous materials in compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance of the vehicle. Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Assist in loading and unloading hazardous materials and ensure securement according to safety standards. Report defects, accidents or violations in a timely manner. Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations or laws affecting transportation operations. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards. Effective communication skills. Ability to operate electronic equipment and software (e.g., GPS, AVL units, CB). Knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures for hazardous materials. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Hazmat Endorsement required. Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) preferred.
