School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
located in Gonzales, LA, is seeking a dedicated professional to
fill the role of a School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school
year. This contract position offers an opportunity to support
students academic, emotional, and social development through
comprehensive psychological services. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform
individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with educators,
parents, and other school staff to support student mental health
and learning needs. Provide counseling and intervention services to
students as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
and contribute to the creation of a positive school environment.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all legal and
ethical guidelines. Qualifications: Valid Educator Certificate with
a School Psychologist endorsement. Experience working with K-12
students preferred. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Location:
