Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
to support students in a school setting located in Gonzales, LA.
This role involves working collaboratively with educators, parents,
and other professionals to enhance communication skills among
students through individualized therapy plans. The position
requires travel to various school sites within the district,
providing a diverse and engaging work environment. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language
assessments to identify student needs. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language
disorders. Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student
progress and carryover of skills. Maintain accurate and timely
documentation of therapy sessions and student progress. Participate
in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
Travel to multiple schools within the assigned district as needed.
Qualifications: Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Experience working in educational settings with children of various
ages. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to
manage caseloads effectively and travel between schools. Knowledge
of current best practices in school-based speech and language
pathology. Location: Gonzales, Louisiana, with required travel to
