San Marcos, TX Texas State University Equipment Mechanic Job Number: 2023362 Location: San Marcos Department: Facilities Management Recruitment Type: Open to All Job Type: Full Time Monthly Salary: $2,882.72 - $3,136.35 Job Category: Non-Exempt Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience performing mechanical repairs (Automotive, Power Equipment, or Small Engine repairs) Experience performing basic electronic troubleshooting and diagnosis Experience using typical mechanic shop tools and test equipment Able to effectively communicate both written and verbally Preferred Qualifications: Experience repairing small engines and diesel equipment Experience repairing various mowing equipment Experience performing automotive air conditioning repair Experience maintaining gas and electric powered golf carts Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems Experience maintaining trailers Job Description: Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing all small engine and heavy equipment for Facilities.
