Monthly Salary: $2,882.72 - $3,136.35 Job Category: Non-Exempt
Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience performing
mechanical repairs (Automotive, Power Equipment, or Small Engine
repairs) Experience performing basic electronic troubleshooting and
diagnosis Experience using typical mechanic shop tools and test
equipment Able to effectively communicate both written and verbally
Preferred Qualifications: Experience repairing small engines and
diesel equipment Experience repairing various mowing equipment
Experience performing automotive air conditioning repair Experience
maintaining gas and electric powered golf carts Experience
diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems Experience maintaining
trailers Job Description: Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing,
maintaining, and repairing all small engine and heavy equipment for
Facilities. Job Duties: Analyze equipment malfunctions Perform
preventative maintenance on small gasoline or diesel engine Weld in
order to repair equipment Use the computer to look up and purchase
parts, complete work orders, and communicate Perform tire repair
Clean equipment Repair tractors Maintain shop housekeeping Maintain
records of work performed Solder piping or electrical connectors
Inspect university vehicles for safety Perform other duties as
