Job Description:

Turner Industries Group is looking for a Capital Projects/ Construction Manager for a site San Marcos, TX.

• 
  
• 5-10 years experience in leadership in an industrial environment.
  
• Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment including execution of safety meetings.
  
• Understanding of and previous responsibility for finances and budgeting/ profit and loss.
  
• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time dram and funding parameters.
  
• Reviews project proposal and plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotments of available resources to various phases of project personnel.
  
• Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  
• Reviews and presents projects for management, client, and staff; confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
  
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

  Educational and Experience Requirements:
  Minimum High School Graduate and 15-20 Years Industry Experience primarily in the Petrochemical and Refining Industry.
  
  Computer Literacy: Practical Experience in:

  • Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
    
  • Commercial Cost and Scheduling Programs
