Description: Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our IT department. This role is responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to align technological solutions with business goals.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the IT department, including infrastructure, support services, and cybersecurityDevelop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to support organizational goalsManage IT budgets, project timelines, and vendor relationshipsOversee the maintenance and upgrade of IT systems and infrastructure (e.g., servers, networks, cloud services)Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systemsIdentify and mitigate potential security risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)Analyze business requirements to determine appropriate technology solutionsProvide leadership and mentorship to IT staff; manage recruitment, performance reviews, and trainingCoordinate IT support services to ensure high availability and minimal downtimeMonitor and report on key IT metrics and performance indicatorsInstall, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scannersTroubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faultsEnsure security through access controls, backups, and firewallsDocument technical knowledge in manuals and IT documentationSupport the rollout of new applications and system updatesLiaise with third-party support and vendors for repairs and service escalationsAll other duties as assigned#PM25Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field3+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial roleIn-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud technologiesStrong leadership, project management, and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesRelevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA) are a plusPreferred Skills:Experience with system administration, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and enterprise networkingFamiliarity with IT compliance and audit requirementsProven track record of managing IT projects from conception to implementationWorking Conditions:A typical office environment with occasional travel between sites or remote facilitiesMay require on-call availability for emergencies or system upgrades outside regular hoursRequirements:PI2bbb7ca184dc-25660-37684759
