Responsibilities
San Marcos Treatment Center, a 212-bed, seclusion free, psychiatric
residential treatment facility located between Austin and San
Antonio in the heart of Central Texas! San Marcos spreads across
65-acres with an abundance of trees and wildlife. We have 13 unique
living units separated by gender, age, and development levels with
two swimming pools, two gymnasiums, sports court, playing fields,
ropes course, canteen, social area, and a healing trail. We provide
24-hour psychiatric care to girls and boys ages 6 to 17 with
customized therapeutic approaches and intensive behavioral programs
teach young patients to moderate their behavior, manage emotions

functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team within the
organization/program, documents services in the clinical record,
engages in inter-organizational care, coordination, and documents
service outcomes. Responsible and accountable for providing direct
behavioral healthcare services to children adolescents with mental
illness in residential treatment programs, including assessments,
diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, group, and family
therapy, case management activities, patient and family education,
and discharge and aftercare planning. Join a clinical team of

Qualifications
Requirements
- Texas LPC or LCSW , LPC-I or LMSW
- Ability to provide effective short term individual, group and
family therapy services
- Exceptional computer skills, proficiency in MS Word and
capacity to produce polished desktop clinical documents utilizing
computer templates and formats with attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management
skills
- Ability to establish and maintain customer-oriented services
and behavior resulting in positive satisfaction. Function in a
manner consistent with Service Excellence standards as applied to
both external and internal customers
- Flexibility regarding schedule and availability for evening and
weekend family therapy
