Job Description:

This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care in Victoria, TX, with a focus on routine gastroenterological procedures.Practice Setting:

• Work in a Level 3 trauma facility with a supportive team including 2 APPs and 1 MA.
• Manage approximately 30 patients per day with additional phone consults and callbacks.Schedule:
  • Ongoing assignment with a commitment of 1-2 weeks per month.
  • Scheduled clinical hours plus 24-hour call with a 30-minute response time.Procedures and Cases:
    • Perform EGD, colonoscopies, and provide new patient access and hospital consults.
    • Required skills include upper and lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision.Requirements:
      • Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
      • Active Texas medical license or Interstate Medical License.
      • Certifications required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS.Compensation:
        • Competitive hourly rate of $450.
