ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Hematology / Oncology for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Hematology / Oncology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Bone Marrow Job Details: • Work in Transplant & Cellular Therapy Clinic with 14 exam rooms, 21 infusion bays, and 5 treatment rooms • Patient ratios: Office RN 10:1, Infusion RN 6:1 • Work every other weekend shifts • Float to BMT and Oncology Inpatient Units as needed • Must have oncology background experience • Must have chemotherapy experience • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required • Bone Marrow Transplant experience preferred • Immune Effector Cell Therapy experience preferred • Required certification: Chemotherapy • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required • Must demonstrate flexibility and ability to multitask • Work with IV pumps and remote patient monitoring equipment • Use Meditech EMR system • Perform chemotherapy/biotherapy administration • Provide stem cell infusion pre and post care • Manage immune effector cell infusion and patient care Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Transplant & Cellular Therapy Clinic that specializes in advanced oncology treatments and bone marrow transplant services.
