This full-time opportunity as a School Psychologist serves TK-8th grade students in an onsite K-8 school setting located in Gonzales, CA. This contract position spans the full school year (CSY) and emphasizes applying expertise in Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to support student success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments and develop evidence-based Behavioral Intervention Plans tailored to individual student needs. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to identify behavioral challenges and implement effective interventions. Provide psychological evaluations and assessments to inform instructional strategies and accommodations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to design support programs that promote positive educational outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with educational regulations and best practices. Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Demonstrated experience working with K-8 students, particularly in behavior assessment and intervention. Strong understanding of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and families. Location: Position is based onsite in Gonzales, CA within a TK-8 school environment.
