Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Round Rock, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,752 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: BLS, ACLS, NIH Description: This is a contract position for an RN specializing in Telemetry. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates should have experience with Meditech and exposure to working in a level 2 trauma center. The role requires direct patient care for a high turnover of patients. No call is required for this position. The unit has a total of 34 beds with a patient ratio of 1 RN to 5 patients. The staff includes RNs, nursing assistants, and a charge nurse. Typical procedures performed on the unit include cardiac assessments, managing cardiac drips and medications, and post-cardiac catheterization procedures. Acute stroke assessments and neuro checks are also part of the responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be motivated, accountable, and compassionate. The candidate should be a great team player and advocate for patients. The dress code requires navy scrubs. Permanent positions on the unit are available. The unit values new technology and equipment to enhance patient care. The staff's tenure and experience contribute to a supportive work environment.
