Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team on a pool basis. This position will be integral to our inpatient rehabilitation hospital settings, where we strive to deliver the highest standard of patient care. Our collaborative team aims to improve the health and quality of life of our patients through innovative respiratory therapy. Assess and monitor patient respiratory status and needs. Develop and implement respiratory care plans and interventions. Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, such as ventilators and oxygen supply systems. Document patient care and outcomes meticulously. Educate patients and families about respiratory treatments and management. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care. Participate in respiratory therapy quality assurance and improvement initiatives. Expertise in ventilator management Proficiency with various types of respiratory care equipment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team Skillful in emergency respiratory procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Respiratory Therapist license in practising state CPR certification Membership with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) is recommended
