Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking dedicated Licensed
Practical Nurses (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to join
our team, serving patients in both facility-based and home-based
settings. With a mission centered on providing high-quality,
cost-effective healthcare, we operate a network of inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals alongside home health and hospice
agencies. Our LPNs/LVNs play a critical role in patient care,
contributing to treatment plans, and enhancing patient outcomes.
This position offers both full-time and PRN (pro re nata)
opportunities, making it a flexible option that can accommodate
diverse professional needs. Provide nursing care under the
supervision of a registered nurse with a focus on patient
assessment, treatment, and recovery. Participate in the development
and implementation of patient treatment plans. Monitor patient
progress and adapt care plans as necessary. Ensure documentation of
patient care is complete and accurate. Administer medications and
maintain patient health records. Educate patients and their
families on treatment plans and health maintenance. Strong clinical
skills in a healthcare setting Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a
team Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills Proficiency
in handling medical equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN or LVN license in the state of
practice. CPR certification.
