Registered Nurse (RN) | Dialysis Location: Cedar Park, TX Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,858 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ID: 75662359 Shift: 07:00 AM-05:30 PM Description: An Acute Care Dialysis RN provides specialized hemodialysis care to acutely ill hospitalized patients, delivering safe and effective treatments across ICU, step-down, and medical-surgical units while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. This role includes assessing patients, monitoring treatment responses, operating dialysis equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and educating patients and families. The position is structured as four 10-hour shifts per week with a rotating overnight and weekend call requirement. Candidates must have at least one year of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis experience, with two or more years preferred; experience with the Tablo dialysis machine is considered a plus. Unit Description: The dialysis unit is a small, specialized service within a 126-bed acute care hospital, providing focused, high-quality renal support to hospitalized patients with acute or chronic kidney needs. The team delivers an average of 3 6 hemodialysis treatments per day, allowing for individualized care, close monitoring, and strong collaboration with nephrology and inpatient clinical teams.
