This role is pivotal in assisting patients in enhancing their ability to perform daily activities through therapeutic practices. As a vital member of our rehabilitation team, you will apply effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, fostering independence and improving their quality of life. Evaluate patients' conditions and develop appropriate occupational therapy treatment plans. Help patients develop or regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to disabilities by implementing programs involving manual arts and crafts, practice in functional, vocational, and homemaking skills, and other therapies. Assess and record patients’ activities and progress for patient evaluations, for billing, and for reporting to physicians and other healthcare providers. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients. Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve home and work environments based on patient needs. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to create and follow through with personalized care plans Proficiency in evaluating patient performances and delivering appropriate treatments Capability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of practice CPR certified NBCOT Certification preferred
