first The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner serves as a health-care
provider who specializes in diagnosis, management, and follow-up of
patients with any suspected or known heart diseases. As the Nurse
Practitioner, you will work assignments involve outpatient office
and telehealth visits, curbside consults with referring physicians,
coordination of pacemaker/defibrillator monitoring, initiation and
delivery of IV medications, supervision of stress testing, and
patient and/or provider-level didactic presentations. This is a
rare opportunity that allows for work-life balance within the field
of cardiology, with working hours M-F, and no hospital call or
weekend requirements. This role will be onsite at our Goliad Clinic
in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will report to our
Cardiologist in San Antonio. The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
serves as a health-care provider who specializes in diagnosis,
management, and follow-up of patients with any suspected or known
heart diseases. As the Nurse Practitioner, you will work
assignments involve outpatient office and telehealth visits,
curbside consults with referring physicians, coordination of
pacemaker/defibrillator monitoring, initiation and delivery of IV
medications, supervision of stress testing, and patient and/or
provider-level didactic presentations. This is a rare opportunity
that allows for work-life balance within the field of cardiology,
with working hours M-F, and no hospital call or weekend
requirements. Job Duties: - Evaluates and treats center patients in
accordance with standards of care. - Follows level of medical care
and quality for patients and monitors care using available data and
chart reviews. - Completes all medical record documentation in a
timely manner working with a quality- based coder to optimize
coding specificity. - Follows policy and protocol defined by
Clinical Leadership. - Meets with Area Medical Director and Lead
Cardiologist about quality of care, review of outcome data, policy,
procedure and records issues. - Participates in rotating coverage
for after-hours urgent phone calls from patients. - Assures
personal compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting
bodies. - Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct
patient care, inclusive of patient facing time and general
administrative time (charting, meetings, etc.) as it relates to
direct patient care. Required Qualifications - Current and
unrestricted APRN license or willing to obtain a medical licenses
in state of practice; - Graduate of accredited APRN program of an
accredited university - Basic computer skills, including email and
EMR - At least 1 year of prior experience working as a
cardiovascular nurse practitioner. - Experience with pacemaker/ICD
monitoring OR wiliness to participate in dedicated training on
pacemaker/ICD management throughout the first year of employment -
High level of skill in placing IVs and administering IV medications
when needed by the practice Preferred Qualifications - Associate of
the ACC (AACC credential) - Experience supervising stress testing -
Experience with dobutamine pump - Work experience in
electrophysiology - Experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of
patients with understanding of Best Practice in coordinated care
environment in a value-based relationship environment - Knowledge
of Medicare guidelines and coverage - Bilingual in Spanish and
English - Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators Language
Proficiency Testing Any Partners associate who speaks with a member
in a language other than English must take a language proficiency
assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency.

Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below
reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time
(40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay
range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and
individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills,
knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $115,200 -
$158,400 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
