Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated
team. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing both
facility-based and home-based care, addressing a wide range of
speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely
with a multidisciplinary team to support patient-centered care,
focusing on functional outcomes and improved quality of life. Our

excellence in patient care. Assess and treat patients with speech,
language, voice, and fluency disorders. Develop and implement
individualized care plans based on patient needs and diagnosis.
Provide counseling and education to patients and families about
speech disorders and treatment options. Maintain accurate and
timely records of patient progress and treatment plans. Collaborate
with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient
care. Conduct group and one-on-one therapy sessions. Complete
required documentation for insurance purposes and patient records.
Expertise in various speech therapy techniques and diagnostics.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Critical thinking and
problem-solving skills. Proficiency in electronic health record
(EHR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
(CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
(ASHA).
