Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated LPN / LVN to join our
team, providing unparalleled care in the field of inpatient
rehabilitation for complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
The successful candidate will work closely with an
interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery, aiming to
achieve optimal levels of independence for our patients. This role
requires a deep commitment to patient care, meticulous attention to
medical protocols, and the ability to adapt to diverse patient
needs. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients'
conditions. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for
reactions or side effects. Record patients' medical information and
vital signs. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by
patients' responses and conditions. Consult and coordinate with
healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate
patient care plans. Proficient in nursing practices and protocols
Ability to operate medical equipment Strong communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving Empathy and compassion in
patient care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
