treatment in a secure residential environment designed for
long-term forensic psychiatric rehabilitation. About the Facility

in scenic environments. About the Clinician's Workday The
psychiatrist will provide specialized psychiatric care for dually
diagnosed adult patients committed under forensic orders in a state
hospital environment. Clinical duties include conducting
comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and providing ongoing
medication management for patients with long-term forensic
commitments involving all degrees of felony charges under not
guilty by reason of insanity verdicts. The clinician will manage a
census of 220 patients, seeing approximately 24 patients monthly
while working full-time day shifts with no call requirements.
Responsibilities include responding to emergency situations and
restraint protocols, participating in treatment planning meetings,
and maintaining detailed documentation while collaborating with
nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated
care delivery in the residential forensic treatment setting.
