Description Job Summary We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our outpatient General Surgery team in San Antonio, TX . This position is primarily clinic-based, focusing on the evaluation and management of surgical patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP looking to establish a long-term role within a growing surgical program. Key Responsibilities Provide outpatient care for general surgery patients, including new patient evaluations and follow-up visits Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient management Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the surgical team Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery expectations Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure continuity and quality of care Qualifications Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant National certification (NCCPA) Previous surgical or outpatient specialty experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a clinic setting Interest in long-term growth within a surgical specialty Schedule & Compensation Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Primarily outpatient role with flexibility based on provider interest Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, PTO, CME allowance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match
