for SHOP SUPPORT STAFF Compensation: $15/hr tip share Not your
average golf course. A 9-hole, par 3 pitch & putt with real grass
greens with holes that are unique, fun, and easy to play for all
ages. Located in the heart of downtown Austin since 1949, Butler
Pitch & Putt aims to make golf fun & accessible for all. Come for
the golf, stay for food by Gimme Burger, Amateur Shop in
collaboration with Criquet Shirts, and games in the beer garden.
JOB OVERVIEW Shop Support Staff provide the necessary assistance of
daily operations at Butler Pitch & Putt. Reporting directly to the
General Manager, persons in this position will work closely with
the Golf Operations Manager, Shop Staff, and Greenskeepers to
ensure guest experience standards and operating procedures are
exceeded. Butler Pitch & Putt is dedicated to genuine customer
service and approachable hospitality which Shop Staff will provide
to guests through solid communication skills, conflict resolution,
and a proactive approach to their respective roles. What you'll do:
Provide focused support to operations in the shop, throughout
public spaces, and on the course Be attentive to the needs of the
guest and maintain standards in guest-facing areas Ensure working
areas are clean, safe, and organized to set counterparts up for
success Monitor inventory levels and supplies for retail, food, and
beverage, and course materials Continuously navigate between the
shop and property to ensure areas that need attention are addressed
Assist shop staff during peak times and provide relief during shift
transitions Greet all guests in close proximity and make each feel
important by providing a genuine welcome and knowledgeable insights
into what Butler has to offer Promote and encourage guest name
recognition at all times with both internal and external guests
Assist with the flow of traffic in the shop, at the courtyard, and
on the course to protect the guest experience Assist in the
development and implementation of special projects Be available to
fill in and assist in other areas as needed to ensure the efficient
operation as directed by management Who you are: You have flexible
availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You have
the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You have 6
months of related experience in the hospitality or service
industry. You are a master at first impressions and setting the
tone. You enjoy the hustle and bustle of working in a fast-paced
environment in which you can create positive experiences and leave
lasting impressions. You love being on your feet and getting in
