Job Title: Lifeguard Location: The Dominion Country Club Position Type: Seasonal Part-Time Age Requirement: 17 years and older Certifications: CPR Certified Job Description: We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our members and guests at The Dominion Country Club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the pool area, enforcing safety rules, and providing emergency response when necessary. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all visitors. Responsibilities: - Vigilantly monitor the pool area to prevent accidents and respond promptly to emergencies. - Enforce all pool rules and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment. - Assist members and guests with pool-related questions and concerns. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool and surrounding areas. - Conduct regular safety checks of the pool and equipment. - Administer first aid and CPR in case of emergencies. - Record and report incidents or unsafe conditions to management. - Assist with pool setup and breakdown as needed. Qualifications: - Must be at least 17 years old. - CPR Certified (must hold current certification). - Previous lifeguarding experience is preferred but not required. - Strong swimming skills and physical fitness. - Excellent observation and communication skills. - Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations. Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. - Ability to perform rescue procedures and administer first aid.
