Job Description:
Astound Broadband, the sixth-largest telecommunications provider
in the United States, is looking for a talented and experienced
Recruiter to join our amazing culture and team! Reporting directly
to the Vice President of HR, the Recruiter is responsible for
leading the corporate recruitment process for all sites within the
Texas region, ensuring talent needs and goals are achieved. A Day
in the Life of an Astound Recruiter:
- Create, execute and maintain recruitment workflow to ensure
best practices and process efficiency
- Drive & maintain outstanding candidate experience; serve as a
positive face & first point of contact to the organization
- Responsible for full-cycle recruiting to include sourcing
candidates, posting advertisements and creative sourcing
strategies, initiating offers and background screenings, and annual
FCC reporting
- Works with HR and leadership team to identify qualified
candidates through the screening and hiring processes
- Build strong, credible relationships with senior leadership,
hiring managers, operating as a trusted advisor and talent subject
matter expert
- Identifies, leverages, builds, and maintains sourcing practices
including, but not limited to, professional networking, social
recruiting, university programs, internet sourcing, and employee
referrals
- Assures compliance with all regulatory/legal requirements
including FCC EEO tracking
- Manages relationships with external staffing vendorsWhat You
Bring to the Table:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor s Degree preferred
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Telecommunications recruiting a plus
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience with Applicant Tracking
Systems; experience with Ultipro/UKG is a plus
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience with full-cycle
recruitment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills/must be customer-focused
- High level of initiative/self-motivation
- Prioritizes tasks and projects with a high-level sense of
urgency
- High level of integrity, openness, conscientiousness,
