Job Description:
The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in ensuring the
smooth operation of our HR department. This role involves reviewing
and analyzing HR data, assisting in implementing payroll and
benefits, managing company swag and gifts, and maintaining HR
policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR
operations and a passion for creating a positive employee
experience.
Responsibilities:--- Collect, review, and analyze and refine HR
data to identify trends and insights including monthly turnover
data for all operating companies--- Assist MCG HR team with
recruiting and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants
for open positions. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and follows
up at the end of the recruiting process.--- Process bi-weekly
payroll and benefits for MCG and backup payroll for MCFI
payroll.--- Assist the safety director in standardizing and
implementing the Shoes for Crews program.--- Help standardize
offboarding, onboarding, exit surveys, new hire surveys, etc.,
across all operating companies--- Conduct audits of payroll,
benefits, EEOC data or other HR programs and recommend corrective
action at operating companies.--- Assists with the preparation of
the performance review process at all operating companies---
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the VP of HR and
HR Operations Director--- Performs routine tasks required to
administer and execute human resource programs including but not
limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disputes and
investigations; performance and talent management; productivity,
recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and
training and development.--- Support the implementation of HR
changes across all operating companies, including preparing
presentations to communicate benefits, handbooks, all-hands
meetings, town halls, etc.--- Complete salary benchmarking and
compensation analysis for all operating companies--- Facilitate the
creation and management of new hire checklists, year-end schedules,
and overall onboarding processes.--- Managing company swag and gift
programs.
Required Knowledge/Experience:--- Bachelor's degree in human
resources, business administration or equivalent experience--- 3+
years of experience in Human resources or a similar role---
Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software. Paylocity is a plus.
Required Skill/Abilities:--- Extremely proficient in Microsoft
Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)--- Ability to
prioritize workload, multi-task, and work under pressure in a
demanding environment. --- Strong communication and interpersonal
skills--- Maintain discretion and confidentiality.--- Exceptional
organizational skills and attention to detail--- Excellent time
management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.---
Strong leadership skills
Work Environment and Physical Demands:--- FLSA executive and
professional positions paid on a salary basis, where project
requirements and tight client deadlines may require workweeks over
forty (40) hours (including weekends or holidays) --- This role
will work in an office setting, however visits to the production
floor are required to oversee operations, ensure compliance and
safety standards and engage in staff.--- Mobility: Ability to move
around the manufacturing plant, including walking, standing, and
climbing stairs.--- Manual Dexterity: Occasional use of hands to
handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.--- Lifting: Ability to
lift and carry items up to twenty-five (25) pounds. All lifting
should be done following OSHA standards.--- Visual and Auditory
Requirements: Must be able to see and hear well enough to navigate
the plant safely and communicate effectively with team members.
