As a Security Officer - Distribution Site in Schertz, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more . Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:30 PM - 09:30 PMTue04:30 PM - 09:00 PMWed04:30 PM - 09:00 PMThur04:30 PM - 09:00 PMFri04:30 PM - 09:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do: - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites - Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education - Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams - Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service - Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. - Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit. - Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. - Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. - Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site protocols. - Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed. - Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and general inquiries at the location. What We’re Looking For: - Availability across various days and shifts - Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments - A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company - Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: - A valid Guard Card or license is preferred. - A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
