Job Description:
At Dynamic Systems, Inc., a leader in IT systems and services
for high-demand environments, we are seeking a skilled Platform
Engineer to join our dedicated team within the IT & Data Management
department. This role focuses on engineering robust platforms and
frameworks to support our innovative data and AI solutions. The
ideal candidate will be instrumental in building and enhancing our
internal platforms, aiding in the consultation and implementation
of infrastructure decisions, and solving complex challenges in a
security-focused manner. You will work directly with
cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are efficient,
scalable, and aligned with the latest in technology and security
principles. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and
reliable platforms tailored for our high-level data handling and AI
operations. Collaborate with IT security teams to design and
enhance infrastructure ensuring robust security protocols and
measures are integrated. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across
various levels of the architecture, ensuring optimal performance
and minimal downtime. Implement monitoring solutions to proactively
assess health and performance metrics across platforms. Provide
technical leadership and support for our IT and data management
projects, offering innovative solutions and actionable insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and
priorities, and translate business needs into technical actions.
Keep abreast of new technologies and propose adoption as well as
adaptation strategies. Strong expertise in platform engineering and
architecture, particularly with AI and large-scale data systems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or
Scala. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
and building applications in cloud environments. Solid
understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL, and
data frameworks such as Hadoop or Spark. Knowledge of AI
algorithms, machine learning methodologies, and the corresponding
computational requirements. Ability to work effectively in teams,
providing guidance and support to team members. Excellent
problem-solving skills and the capacity to work under tight
