Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
practical experience. 5 years of experience with software
development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of
experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products. 3
years of experience with full stack development, including back-end
systems and front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript,
HTML, CSS, React, Angular). 1 year of experience with software
design and architecture. Experience with database systems (e.g.,
SQL, Spanner). Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in
Computer Science or related technical field. 5 years of experience
with data structures and algorithms. 1 year of experience in a

technology forward. As a Senior Software Engineer within the Google
Cloud Business Platform, you will be instrumental in developing and
enhancing the next-generation systems that drive Google Cloud's
sales compensation. You will address complex, full-stack
challenges, from designing scalable back-end architecture to
building intuitive front-end experiences for our internal users.
You will have the opportunity to own significant projects,
influence architectural decisions, and mentor other engineers. You
will have strong leadership qualities, while managing project
priorities and deadlines, and you will be solving new problems
across the full stack. You will be key in designing, developing,
testing, deploying, and enhancing robust software solutions that

range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 bonus equity
benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and
location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work
location and additional factors, including job-related skills,

product or system development code. Participate in, or lead design
reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available
technologies. Review code developed by other developers and provide
feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking
code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency). Contribute to
existing documentation or educational content and adapt content
based on product/program updates and user feedback. Triage product
or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources
of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service
operations and quality.
