Job Description Time Type: Part time Role Details: SUMMARY Provides a reception service and a range of administrative duties for the Headquarters facility. Ensures the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the reception area in the. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Provides a friendly reception service by welcoming each visitor in a timely manner* Answers a multi-line telephone, taking messages or directing calls as appropriate* Posts list of daily visitors for public viewing in the lobby* Performs a variety of clerical duties as necessary* Maintains lobby, conference rooms, and coffee area in an orderly appearance* Provide back up to mailroom as needed* Supports all staff by answering general inquiries on a day-to-day basis SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems (involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.) WORK AVAILABILITY * Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by management.* Must be regularly available and willing to work at least 4-8 hours per day, 24 hours per week, or such other hours per day or hours per week as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.* Must be available and willing to work such overtime per day or per week as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet business needs.* Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
