The HSE Coordinator will manage the continuous development and
maintenance of the company's Health, Safety and Environmental
Program, ensuring that it meets all current regulatory requirements
and is relevant to the activities of the business. To promote best
practices in support of employee involvement, awareness and
improvement activities in a manufacturing environment.
SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To manage the continuous compliance and maintenance of the
company's Health, Safety and Environmental Program, ensuring that
it meets all current regulatory requirements and is relevant to the
activities of the business. To promote best practices in support of

Safety, Environmental Improvement and Fire Safety committees and

Provide the necessary training and support required by the
committees to enable them to operate correctly and meet the
business requirements and obligations.
+ To compile and maintain safety data sheets and provide risk
assessments, training and awareness necessary to ensure the site
remains compliant to current regulations.
+ To work with occupational health providers to develop an
employee support system that actively reduces employee risks and
reduces lost time due to absence.
+ To have good all-round knowledge of the OSHA, EPA and Workers
Compensation programs, including the ability to read and interpret
and the requirement into practical programs.
+ To have a sound understanding of the principles of risk
assessment techniques and how they are to be applied in this

Physical Requirements of the Position:
This position is a blend of both administrative office

elements (such as heat), frequent computer uses.
