+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Administrative assistant experience

+ Professional budget experience

+ Experience preparing official correspondence

+ Advanced level experience using Microsoft Office Suite

+ Professional experience exhibiting written and verbal communication skills

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

+ 2 years of experience in secretarial or administrative support work

+ 2 years of professional budgeting experience

+ Experience as an administrative assistant in a higher education setting

Job Description

The Senior Administrative Assistant provides support to the Chief Compliance Officer through a variety of administrative tasks related to the implementation and oversight of Institutional Compliance and Ethics. The Senior Administrative Assistant is responsible for confidential and time sensitive material, answering phones, answering emails, scheduling, report tracking, purchasing, maintaining the budget, and organizing travel.

Job Duties

+ Serve as front-line reception staff in a highly professional manner

+ Coordinate, distribute, and collect information and compile data as needed for compliance assessments, projects, and meetings

+ Coordinate all travel arrangements for workshops, conferences, programs, and meetings for departmental staff

+ Effectively manage departmental budget and personnel accounts

+ Establish and maintain confidential files and records

+ Utilize technology to develop, enhance, and maintain web sites, compliance reporting programs, and applications

+ Compose, draft, and proofread official correspondence and reports with a high level of competency

+ Schedule and attend Institutional Compliance meetings

+ Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes for Institutional Compliance meetings
