Job Description:
About us Outsiders Anonymous operates the only 100% free gym in
the state of Texas in order to provide free fitness training and an
awesome sober community to help individuals run towards recovery
and lift themselves into a life worth living. Not only do we
provide a free gym and fitness classes, but we also have free
counseling, deliberate cold therapy, and community activities (rock
climbing, axe throwing, bowling, etc), all to incorporate recovery
and a healthy life in the lives of those who need it most,
specifically those in recovery, veterans/first responders with
PTSD, and the community that supports them. We are not your average
gym, nor are we your average nonprofit. We don't do things the way
others do as we are a place for outsiders andand don't find the
need to use the fancy business words that everyone does. We are
laid back and fun, but we mostly understand that the PRs and
numbers truly don't matter here the community does. We are here to
battle demons together, encourage through pain, and celebrate
success. So if you're looking for somewhere with fluffy buzzwords
like synergy, or meetings, powerpoints and briefings, or even a
simple job description like all the other companies, you might be
in the wrong place. Don't be confused though, we are
"professional", but understand what matters and what doesn't.
Everyone belongs here, and we hope you do too because we're the
last house on the block. Job Description We are seeking an evening
coach for our group fitness classes. The position currently is from
4-7 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The coach would be on
premise at 4 to welcome new members, interact with current members,
and lead group fitness classes at 5 and 6 pm. All the class
