SUMMARY:The Custodial Supervisor (CS) is responsible for managing
day-to-day planning and implementation of all custodial activities.
The CS ensures that the custodial team achieves daily service goals
and ensures contractual compliance through active supervision and
hands-on audits and inspections at assigned sites. The CS
supervises a diverse workforce, including individuals with
disabilities. Please note that 75% of the labor hours for our
contracts are reserved for individuals with documented significant

with documented disabilities to apply.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that the custodial team timely and satisfactorily
completes work at assigned contract sites.
- Communicate effectively with building managers, lead
custodians, and employees.
- Regularly report to Project Manager on custodial operations
issues.
- Take immediate corrective action to address employee
performance and quality control concerns.
- Facilitate continuous improvement strategies while developing
work procedures and implementing Quality control plans for multiple
remote sites with support from the Operations Manager.
- Develop/maintain processes and procedures that ensure the
safety of our employees; comply with federal and state safety
requirements; resolve and report safety hazards; ensure that
custodial team adheres to safety procedures.
- Coach, train, mentor, and provide technical support to all
custodial team members.
- Submit supply orders and manage custodial supplies inventory
levels at assigned contract sites.
- Represent the organization in the community in a positive
manner.
- Meet departmental balanced scorecard metrics.
- Participate in all required meetings.
- Demonstrate ethics and comply with Corporate Compliance
Program.
- Adhere to the assigned work schedule.OTHER DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
- Assist the Project Manager in developing policies, processes,
and workflow procedures for the custodial team.SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITY:
- This position has supervisory responsibilities over Custodian
Team Leads, Custodian Floor Technicians, and Custodians.REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least two (2) years of previous supervisory experience.
- At least two (2) years of experience in commercial custodial
services.
- Demonstrated knowledge in area of basic leadership and
managerial skills to direct a skilled labor work team.
- Good knowledge of the methods, materials, and equipment used in
custodial work, including safety practices.
- Ability to lift fifty pounds with or without a reasonable
accommodation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills ability to
ability to understand and follow written and oral directions and
ability to express ideas in written and oral communication.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and address
sensitive matters appropriately and effectively.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships.
- Valid drivers license (depending on assigned site).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check (subject to
requirements of assigned site client).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED and some college experience.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and/or sign language.
