Ameridrives also provides repair and maintenance service for Ameridrives brand and other manufacturers universal joints and products.**Job Description****SUMMARY**This position is responsible for the cycle counting function, which includes all inventory items as well as, work-in-process (WIP) items. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data at all times. Will be required to work in high places and operate forklift and lift trucks at times. Will take a leadership role in training and assisting team members as needed.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Perform regular cycle counts of finished goods and components* Verify the accuracy of inventory* Aid in locating materials in Warehouse* Investigate discrepancies between electronic and actual inventory counts on shop floor* Make periodic adjustments to electronic inventory to match physical counts* Perform other duties and assist in other areas as needed**Critical Competencies*** Knowledge in the use of safety practices* Will have a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment* This position requires that the person be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently* Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills* Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations* Will be computer literate, particularly in shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications**Job Requirements****Education and Experience Requirements** * High school diploma or equivalent or 2+ years related experience in a warehouse shipping/receiving environment* 1+ year of Forklift experience requiredEEO Statement: The company in which you have expressed employment interest is a subsidiary or affiliate of Altra Industrial Motion Corp.
