The ReStore Team Lead is responsible for assisting the management team with the day-to-day operations of the AHFH ReStore, including both the production activities and the retail sales floor. Responsibilities include pricing, loading and unloading trucks, customer and donor service, cashiering, stocking, merchandising, inventory control and record keeping. The Team Lead is also responsible for the overall production, efficiency, housekeeping standards, white board updates, upholding and maintaining safety standards, loss prevention protocols as well as coordination and participation of merchandise flow. Additionally, the ReStore Team Lead is responsible for clearly defining roles, responsibilities and requirements for all ReStore employees according to management directives - holding employees accountable by setting specific performance expectations, providing the necessary training and follow up. -AGENCY EXPECTATIONS:
Acts as a role model within and outside the AgencyAdheres to Agency policy and proceduresMaintains a positive and respectful attitude and upholds organizational core valuesWorks in collaboration with supervisor and staff to implement organizational strategic goalsDemonstrates self-motivation, flexibility and efficient time managementDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Management of Day to Day ReStore ActivitiesEnsuring store opening and closing procedures are being followedReporting all theft, misuse of company property or other illegal activities to store managementWork a flexible schedule in support of the store opening and closing operations in addition to general production needs including weekends and holidays when necessaryResolve customer complaints in a fair and impartial manner referring and escalated disputes to store managementSupervise and train retail employees in all areas of the ReStoreAssist in performing daily administrative and clerical functions of ReStore operations and cash transactionsMonitor sales transactions associated with purchases and ensure proper sales procedures are followed by sales associates and cashiersMaintain store appearance and expectations according to housekeeping checklistMaintain a professional appearance and demeanorComplies with all store safety and security proceduresAssists in line-level function as needed (e.g., sales, receiving, processing, merchandising)Adhere to work schedulePerform other duties as assignedAssist to oversee the production process for all donations, functions, inventory control and adherence to the procedures for receiving and processingMaintain a neat and orderly store that is properly equipped and supplied to meet all budgetary requirementsAttend work meetings as scheduledWorks with management in regards to overseeing CSR program and volunteers; verifying paperwork, orientation and job assignment. Assess knowledge and skill level of volunteers, assigning roles and training as necessaryCreate an atmosphere of ongoing exceptional customer service for both internal and external customersCommunication of daily issues to store managementNotify ReStore staff of store and production goals, assigning daily duties to ensure goals are metMaintaining a consistent, open dialog with all staffMaintain RecordsMonitors housekeeping logTracking of CSR and volunteer hoursDaily closeout of cash drawers and creation of daily depositsMINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environmentExpert in professionality and impeccable of customer serviceAbility to work with diverse individualsTwo years of supervisory experience in a retail environmentMinimum of two years staff supervisory experiencePREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
