Job Description:

Our client, located in San Marcos is looking for an AP Specialist to join their team! They have been steadily growing all through the pandemic and have recently acquired 20 new properties and are looking to expand their team of accounting professionals to help with growth.
Teamwork is important for success, so the perfect candidate must be able to work in a team when needed. The first 30 days of this position will be on site, and then can go 2-3 days hybrid.
Accounts Payable Specialist Duties

• Full cycle and high-volume AP
  
• Manage and code incoming invoices
  
• Ensuring that W-9's are filled out and submitted prior to payment, and tracking down any that are missing
  
• Scanning in any physical invoices to electronic form
  
• Reviewing invoices and ensuring that they are coded for the correct property
  
• Answering questions from vendors
  Accounts Payable Specialist Skills and Experience
  
  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience
    
  • Sage Impact and Epay-Avid are a plus
    
  • Proficient with Excel
    
  • Strong communication skills are required
