Job Description:

Sweeper OperatorAs a Sweeper Operator employed by Alff Construction, completes assigned parking lot sweeping schedule in a timely and efficient manner. Performs quality work that meets the customer and owner's expectations. Communicates with peers and upper-level management effectively and clearly. This person will report directly to the Site Supervisor.Responsibilities include:Follow the route for each designated night and remove anything foreign to the property (Ex. Trash, debris, sand/salt)Ensure sweeping is done on curbs, front of store, under parked cars, front of buildings, cast stall, behind the store, and any other areas of the parking lotFollow instructions from supervisors to perform sweeping assigned lotsReport issues with equipment or unsafe conditionsAbide by safety procedures when using equipmentPerforms all duties assigned by management in a timely mannerOther duties as assignedRequires Skills/Abilities:Extensive knowledge of the industry (landscaping, property maintenance)Superior time management abilityMust be very dependableMust maintain high level of customer service in all dealingsMust be organizedMust have Valid Driver's LicenseMust be 21 years oldNight Shift 9:30 pm - 6:00 amEducation and Experience:Background in property maintenance or landscaping is preferred, but not requiredPossesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
