Take a look at our latest achievements !About the Role:As a Senior ML Scientist II, you will help design and develop novel AI computer vision models across multiple industry verticals including solar, wind turbines, and commercial roofing. These models will be created using various sensor data ranging from RGB (Red, Green, Blue), thermal, and geospatial images collected from drones, fixed wing aircrafts, along with other image sources. Working collaboratively with product managers and backend engineers will be required to ensure the models are performing to the product specifications.The day-to-day duties of the job will include collecting, organizing, and analyzing image and thermal data collected from customers, and then programmatically converting the data into formats that are usable by machine learning models. The duties will also include programming/developing machine learning models using cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) along with assisting in programmatic deployments of these models into production. In this position, you'll be collaborating and presenting models, results, and roadmapping ideas with other members of the ML team and other cross functional teams. It will also be expected that this role will require you to write documentation on how to run, test, and use the various models and other programs that you will develop. It will also be expected that you mentor and coach more junior developers in the AI department.Responsibilities:

• Design and develop novel AI computer vision models across multiple verticals such as solar, wind, and commercial properties
• Develop AI models that operate on a variety of sensor data ranging from RGB to thermal imagery
• Develop AI models that operate on a variety of image sources such as drones, fixed wing aircraft.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data for machine learning model development
• Utilizing cloud technologies such as AWS to train and deploy AI models
• Collaborating with and presenting model results to other members of the AI team and other cross-functional teams
• Write documentation and tests on how to run, test, and use various models and programs that you develop
• Mentor and coach more junior developers within the AI departmentQualifications:
  • Masters Degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science
  • 8+ years experience with building deep learning based computer vision models in a professional setting
  • 8+ years experience with Python, Pytorch, and AWS
  • 5+ years experience working with aerial imagery and geospatial data
  • Experience with mentoring and coaching more junior developers
  • Experience with collaborating with different teams to ensure models meet product specifications
  • Experience with state of the art AI models such as generative, agentic, or multimodal models
  • Recent publications in machine learning, geospatial, or similar academic conferencesWhat's Included:
