Physician - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation* Physiatrist- need is for supporting current PM&R physician, but there is potential for program Medical Directorship, if candidate is strong.* Location: Victoria, TX* 42-bed IRF, typically split patient load with the other PM&R doc, well-supported by the IM docs, Full-Time, flexible hours* Comp: _Negotiable, base, plus additional RVU production bonus _* _Benefits : Medical Plans, _CME allotment, PTO, relocation* Start: asapReporting Structure* Reports to the Regional Chief Medical Officer for clinical matters.* Reports to the Hospital CEO (or designee) for administrative matters.Key Responsibilities* Provide full-time medical care to hospital patients specializing in physical and rehabilitation medicine (including rounding and consultations).* Collaborate with hospital leadership, staff, and other practitioners to develop and improve patient care policies.* Address medical concerns that impact patient care, quality of life, or healthcare services.* Diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with physical and cognitive impairments, disabilities, and pain conditions.* Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including injections, electro-diagnostic medicine, and treatment planning.* Assess and stabilize patients with emergency conditions per hospital policies.* Supervise rehabilitation treatment plans, including physical therapy and interventions.* Oversee admissions, pre-admission screenings, and patient care plans.* Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards.* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient progress evaluations.* Provide administrative support as required.Qualifications* Education: M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.* Licensure: Active state medical license.* Training: Completion of an accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency.* Certification: Board certification (or eligibility) in PM&R is preferred.* Experience: Prior Medical Director or leadership experience preferred.* Leadership Skills: Strong in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and strategic planning.* Education & Training: Support medical education through curriculum development, rounds, lectures, and training sessions for medical staff.Job Type: Full-timePay: $302,919.00 - $318,494.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to Friday* No weekendsWork Location: In personby Jobble
