POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists all operating room personnel with support services in all areas of the operating room. Is usually assigned to one specific shift and unit, but will be required to work other shifts. Carries out general and specific housekeeping activities essential to keeping the operating room facilities clean and orderly at University Health Surgery Center - MAC situated within Morgan's Multi-Assistance Center at 5210 Thousand Oaks Dr. in San Antonio, TX. University Health Surgery Center - MAC is an ambulatory surgery center that offers multiple specialties with a primary focus on catering to the special needs and pediatric population. Maintains good guest and working relations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Must read, write and speak English, must be able to understand written and oral instructions, keep records, and do simple arithmetic. Six months of practical experience in operating room functions is preferred. Training in CPR and operating room procedures is preferred.
