Dahill Office Technology Corp., A Xerox Company is looking for a customer service oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team!
Duties and Responsibilities: Keeping open channels of communication with the sales department and Customer Care Center (C3) department to ensure efficient and accuracy of Sales Orders. Providing face to face customer support to walk-up Customer Service counter. Prepare / fill boxes with product for shipment. Affix correct shipping label (UPS WorldShip, FEDEX Ship Manager, etc.) to each package for shipment. Count, stock, and restock product according to the stocking ticket and need. Organize shelf and bin locations based on product, space and usability. Identify damaged, lost, and/or missing product and notify Team Lead or department manager. Assist the Customer Care Center (C3) department for inaccuracy of Sales Orders shipped to customers. Participate in department quarterly inventory checks. Use of manual pallet jack and electric forklift as needed.
Requirements: High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent.Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, bill of lading, and packing slips. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and other employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Customer service experience.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to work in all type of environments. Position is a fast-paced environment and will require long periods of standing, crouching and walking. Maintain cleanliness of work areas ensuring a safe and reliable work environment.
