Job Description:
The On Premise Sales Consultant will be responsible for the
developing relationships and expanding business within the assigned
account territory. The Sales Consultant must be willing to
independently plan and execute assigned sales goals and supplier
initiatives. This person will also be expected to provide and
execute customer service and professionalism at the highest level.
This Sales Consultant will be expected to plan and execute team,
buyer, and consumer events during daytime business hours, evenings,
and weekends.Daily Functions:Account Visits within territoryProduct
presentations of new and priority itemsSupplier market work withs
weeklyPlanning and executing monthly, quarterly, and yearly
assigned goalsOpening new accounts and increasing market share
across beverage types in existing accountsConducting staff training
seminars to help drive velocityCoordinating and executing events
and promotions in assigned territoryNavigating all customer issues
and communication in a timely mannerStudying our portfolio, sales
reports, and account product sets to identify targetsManaging
inventory needs for assigned routeRecapping daily, weekly, or
monthly business as neededAbiding by TABC guidelinesMust be able
pass drug screening, basic physical, background check, and have a
clean driving recordPhysical Demands:Frequent tasks (75%-100% of
the day that could last from 6-10 hours depending on the number of
cases sold and delivered for that day) This position could consist
of standing, sitting, kneeling, squatting, bending/stooping,
pushing/pulling, lifting, twisting, stair climbing, and
reaching/overhead reachingStanding for long periods of timeTravel
within assigned Sales Route Daily 75%Qualifications:Minimum of 3
years in distribution and/or hospitalityA Bachelors Degree from an
accredited institutionProven wine knowledge such as WSET or
CMSStrong organizational and communication skillsProficiency in
Microsoft Office and able to operate a computerMust own a vehicle
and maintain insuranceMust be able to be licensed by the TABC, must
be 21 years old to applyAble to lift at minimum 40 pounds and stand
