for someone who networks, makes connections, builds relationships,
and pursues opportunities - Outside Sales Account Executive. You
will lead our efforts to generate revenue by promoting and selling
all collections products with assigned existing and new clients by
executing strategies to drive business. You will research industry
segments and company profiles, follow up on leads and opportunities
and coordinate with marketing for the pursuit of other clients. In
addition, you will assure that clients are fully satisfied with
company services and aware of services, programs, promotions, etc.
which may be of benefit to client. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
(ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) 1. Promotes and sells all products and
services, and software to existing clients and prospective clients
in a proficient manner in order to achieve profitable sales. 2.
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on assigned and
prospective customers to ensure they are fully satisfied with
company services and/or aware of services, programs, promotions,
etc. which may be of benefit to clients. Conducts at least one
monthly visit to each selected client to assure maximum utilization
of services and assure client’s full satisfaction with services. 3.
Develops, disseminates and executes weekly sales plans and recaps
utilizing the assigned hardware and Customer Relationship
Management software to assure that sales and marketing objectives
are met in a timely and profitable manner. This can also include
periodic sales reports showing sales volumes, potential sales,
areas of proposed client base expansion, monitor and evaluate the
activities and products of the competition. 4. Enters new customer
data and maintains appropriate detailed records of clients and
prospective clients contacted, person contacted, results achieved,
as well as significant problems/issues encountered. These detailed
records will be kept utilizing the hardware and the Customer
Relationship Management software assigned to the incumbent.
Incumbent will follow all procedures for entering data, updating
database, and synchronizing data on a timely basis as instructed.
5. Maintains and submits in timely manner detailed records of
expenses incurred for business promotion, ie; mileage, lunch
receipts, association fees for reimbursement. May calculate and
submit monthly commission calculation for payment. 6. Participates
in civic and community affairs and attends applicable association
meetings to assure that Sarma services are promoted to prospective
clients. This participation can include overnight trips out of
town. 7. Develops and implements annual sales and marketing plans
outlining objectives, to be achieved and strategies to be used.
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads,
based on information from trade shows, industry ads, business
directories, newspapers, Internet Web sites, and other sources. 8.
Attends training sessions authorized by the company in order to
enhance skills, knowledge, and effectiveness. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college a plus Three - Five
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
of education and experience. Previous experience with outside sales
a plus. Experience with personal computers and software is
encouraged. The incumbent should also possess a great deal of
assertiveness, self-initiative, and creativity. This incumbent will
determine how to set up their weekly call plan and products to
promote based on customer needs. The incumbent should be able to
recommend options to reach a possible resolution of complaints or
fulfillment of requests. A basic understanding of product cost and
profitability is required in order to determine special pricing
requests and proposals. This position requires extensive contact
with clients and prospective clients. Positive relationships with
all company personnel and outside vendors should be developed and
maintained. Incumbents will spend the workday either driving to
customer locations or in a climate-controlled office. They will be
exposed to inclement weather (hot and cold temperatures, rain,
dust, etc). Incumbent will also be walking within an office
environment, outside from vehicle to office space, bending,
stooping, filing, typing, talking on the phone, etc. On occasion,
the incumbent will be required to lift or move objects that are
between 15 – 25 lbs.
