Description Summary: This Job is responsible for providing respiratory therapy, under medical direction, in the treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system. Responsibilities: - Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Cleans and sets-up Respiratory Care equipment on a daily basis and after being used for patient care. - Monitors supplies and forms in Cardiopulmonary Department as needed. - Ensures all Respiratory Care areas throughout the facility are properly stocked with supplies and equipment, at all times. - Participates in educational activities to further his/her knowledge of Respiratory Care needs. - Assist in coverage for EKG as needed. Job Requirements: Education/Skills - High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Experience - 1 – 3 years of experience preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications - None required. Work Schedule: Varies Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
